The rail plough KP-900 is a double-axle, and self-driven railway machine. The plough is determined for arrangement of the gravel ballast when performing the continuous repairs of the superstructure. The working elements are following:
• The side ploughs - which shape the sides of the gravel bed and shift the gravel to the central plough.
• The central plough - which blade the gravel bed and prepare enough of gravel for tamping of gravel bed.
• The sweeping device- is determined for final adaptation of the gravel bed by sweeping and collecting of the excessive gravel
The cab of the machine is glass-fitted, spring mounted on the machine frame between axels. The cab enables a safe controll of the machine travel and all working elements by the two-men screw. A Built-in buffer-gear and pulling device of standard construction on the both fronts of the machine also enables to attach the rail plough to train sets.
